Elected candidates in four regions will be voice of local membership and take place on BVA council for three-year term.

Voting has opened for four new regional representatives to be the voice of vets in their area and on BVA council.
The BVA opened voting today (18 January) for a new representative for the south-east, east of England, north-west and Scotland.
The association said regional representatives were integral to the activities of council and contributed to future policies.
Voters in each region are being urged to pick their preferred candidate:
The elected candidate in each will serve on BVA council for a three-year term.
BVA president James Russell said: “With an increasingly complex veterinary landscape and a year marked by huge challenges to the profession, it is more important than ever that our members have robust representation at the highest level within the BVA.
“I’d encourage everyone who’s eligible to vote to take this opportunity to elect a candidate who can be a strong voice for vets in their region.”
