A veterinary nurse and five veterinary students have been awarded research bursaries to encourage the development of new skills and knowledge, MSD Animal Health has announced.

A further award went to Maxim Bembinov, from the RVC, for his research on improving objectivity of Doppler ultrasound in tendinopathy and desmopathy.
Annabelle Mohring, veterinary advisor at MSD Animal Health, said: “We have been hugely encouraged by the enthusiasm for research that is shown in the number of applications we’ve received this year.
“The projects proposed show a continued dedication to advancing knowledge within the industry. The proposals cover a wide range of topical subjects, which will not only develop our understanding in these areas, but will also help develop new skills for those undertaking the projects.”
