Nominations for awards held to honour veterinary professionals across the UK close on 10 January.
The people behind an awards ceremony that honours the work of veterinary teams is calling for further nominations from the profession before the deadline next month.
The Petplan Veterinary Awards returns in 2022 for its 23rd year and has received more than 31,000 nominations across the five award categories:
The awards are judged by an independent panel made up of people from across the veterinary industry, including presidents of the veterinary and nursing associations, and previous winners of the awards.
Three finalists will be chosen for each category and are all invited to attend the veterinary awards ceremony where the winners will be announced.
James Barnes, head of sales and partnerships at Petplan, said: “For over two decades we’ve been recognising the brilliant work of the UK’s veterinary professionals. Every year the quality of entries is incredibly high, but we know that over the past 18 months the profession really went the extra mile to take care of the nation’s pets.
“The judges are likely to have the toughest decision on their hands to date, regarding who to shortlist and award among the many hugely deserving practitioners.”
