Organisers of SPVS-VMG Congress have issued a call for contributors to the programme for congress, which will be held at ICC Wales in Newport from 21 to 22 January 2022.
SPVS and the VMG have launched an open call for contributors to their congress programme for January 2022.
Anyone who feels they could contribute a session at the event should contact Charlotte Lodge by 31 July 2021 with a title and short synopsis of the proposed session.
SPVS-VMG Congress will take place from 21 to 22 January 2022 at ICC Wales in Newport, Wales, and is held every year to provide business-orientated CPD to those within the veterinary sector.
It is the largest non-clinical veterinary conference in Europe and typically presents five streams of lectures per day.
Typical topics are:
Lecture content provides delegates with a mixture of in-practice case studies and practical steps, combined with more blue-sky thinking and innovations.
Speakers at the event are drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds, including veterinary professionals in practice, veterinary business specialists and academics and experts from outside the sector.
Each year more than 500 delegates attend the event – predominantly a mixture of vets and practice managers – but congress also attracts veterinary nurses, receptionists, and finance and administrative staff, along with those in the veterinary industry, but not working in practice.
At this year’s event, 36% of attendees were at director or owner level and while congress predominantly attracts small animal practitioners, in recent years there have also been dedicated streams for those interested referral, large animal and equine.
