The Veterinary Osteoarthritis Alliance (VOA) has launched an accreditation and online OA CPD academy.

The aim of the VOA is to provide the profession with all the information it needs to know about the diagnosis and management of canine OA through the provision of seminars, CPD online learning/forums and in-house training.

Opportunity

Vets, VNs and veterinary therapists will be able to sign up to VOA membership and then have the opportunity to progress on to VOA accreditation expressed in stages of “1 Paw up to 5 Paw”.

The organisation said: “As the levels of VOA accreditation increase, as will the amount of dedication and interest in OA that a practice has.”

Accreditation

Individual membership is open to veterinary clinicians, veterinary nurses and veterinary rehabilitation professionals.

Practice accreditation is open to veterinary practices that have at least two members of staff who are VOA members and have 1 Paw VOA accreditation.

For more information, visit the VOA website.
