Live event to run in Liverpool from 7 to 10 September with virtual stream also available and access to all content for a further six months to all in-person attendees.
Tickets are set to go live for the 60th edition of BEVA Congress, to be held in Liverpool this September.
The box office will soon open for the special edition of the congress, which will see five live streams running in parallel throughout the conference and clinical research presentations also returning.
This year’s theme is to champion the diverse opportunities the profession offers, and to address some of the non-clinical challenges currently being faced, such as recruitment, retention and work-life balance.
The congress will take place at ACC Liverpool – a multipurpose arena and conference centre in the Merseyside city – from 7 to 10 September.
David Lloyd, who chairs the congress scientific programme, said: “While we are sure most delegates will be clamouring to attend the lectures and discussions in Liverpool in person, the programme also includes a virtual stream available live online.
“A session from one of the streams will be available throughout each day.”
Early bird tickets for BEVA Congress are available from 28 February 2022. Tickets provide access to all lecture exhibition halls as well as full access to the virtual congress hub.
Virtual tickets receive full access to the virtual congress hub only. This year, BEVA is also giving physical delegates access to all congress content for six months after the event.
Mr Lloyd added: “To help reduce our carbon footprint, we are holding one virtual session concurrently across all lecture theatres.
“Global leaders in the field of infectious disease, imaging, nursing, reproduction, and sports medicine and rehabilitation will present virtually to the lecture hall, rather than travelling to the congress.
“This session will have 25 of the ‘best of the best’ speakers, presenting and discussing topics that challenge us in practice.”
