Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health is hosting a live and exclusive online event to bring festive cheer to homes of veterinary professionals.
Nina Conti will be the Christmas Comedy Cracker headline act.
A Christmas comedy event is being planned by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health – and everyone in the profession is invited.
The 80-minute live, exclusive and free Christmas Comedy Cracker is on Thursday 17 December, and aims to help veterinary professionals kick back and relax with some first-rate comedy talent at the end of a challenging year.
Stand-up comedian Rhys James, a regular on BBC’s Mock the Week and Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, will host, with actress, comedian, ventriloquist and British Comedy Awards winner Nina Conti topping the bill.
She will be joined by special guest comedian Zoe Lyons and Noise Next Door, a musical comedy troupe, will complete the line-up.
Jemima Mead, marketing lead at Boehringer Ingelheim, said: “There’s no doubt that 2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for the whole profession. We know COVID-19 has also meant work Christmas celebrations have been cancelled.
“So, as part of our ongoing support for the profession, we are bringing festive cheer direct to the homes of veterinary professionals to help round off the year with first-rate comedy talent, and enable them to kick back, relax and, hopefully, laugh their festive socks off.”
