BSAVA introduces Congress on Demand

Congress-on-Demand-1024x512-TWITTER-inside

The BSAVA is introducing Congress on Demand – an extensive online educational resource designed to deliver more than 100 hours of planned lectures that would have taken place at the COVID-19-cancelled BSAVA Congress.

Launching on Monday 18 May 2020, Congress on Demand has been developed to give attendees access to as much of the planned congress CPD programme as possible.

Wide range

The lectures have been recorded by many of the globally recognised presenters who were scheduled to speak at the congress. Some exhibitor CPD will also be available.

Sessions cover a wide range of topics across the disciplines of:

  • anaesthesia
  • emergency and critical care and surgery
  • common consults
  • dentistry
  • dermatology
  • exotic pets
  • imaging
  • internal medicine
  • oncology
  • ophthalmology
  • management
  • professional and personal development

More than 20 special sessions are also available for vet nurses.

Affordable

Content will be available to purchase at affordable prices, with some free sessions also available to enable delegates to try before they decide to buy. BSAVA members will receive a substantial discount on all prices.

BSAVA president Sue Paterson said: “While nothing can replace the wonderful live experience of BSAVA Congress, which was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19, we knew it was important to fill the gap in the CPD calendar.

“Congress on Demand has been masterminded by our hardworking teams of staff and volunteers in a short space of time, and covers a plethora of high-quality CPD to suit all needs.”

To see the full programme, visit the BSAVA Congress website, and for more information about Congress on Demand, visit the BSAVA Library.
