After success of online presentations in 2020, association has announced a return on 24 to 26 May via a free event.
A varied programme of clinical abstracts will be presented by the BSAVA at an online event on 24 to 26 May.
Following the success of the BSAVA Congress Clinical Abstract Presentations online last year, the association is repeating the process in 2021 via a free-to-attend online video conference.
Abstracts have always played a key role in the BSAVA’s congresses, where researchers, vets, VNs and practice staff gather to share latest thinking, unusual case reports and information on novel procedures.
For the first time, students involved in the revised BSAVA-PetSavers Student Research Project will present in a special module.
Last year’s online event was the largest audience for clinical abstracts in congress history, with an average of 160 attendees for each session.
Joe Fenn, BSAVA Congress clinical abstracts chair, said: “Building on the success of the 2020 BSAVA Congress clinical abstract sessions, we are delighted to have expanded our abstracts programme from two to three days, to accommodate the wide range of excellent submissions we received.
“By bringing interactive clinical abstracts to an international veterinary audience, we are providing clinical researchers with a unique opportunity to share their work with a global network of colleagues.”
Further information about the abstract presentations event is available online.
Access to content from BSAVA Virtual Congress is still available until 22 May.
