BEVA confirms congress is coming home

BEVA has confirmed it will be welcoming delegates back for a face-to-face congress that is just like old times, but in a COVID-safe way.

As restrictions ease across the UK nations, the association has confirmed its congress, which is celebrating its diamond anniversary, will be back at the ICC in Birmingham from 5 to 7 September.

‘Missed out’

BEVA president Lucy Grieve said: “We missed out last year, so we are going to properly make up for it at congress this year, with socialising as well as pure learning on the agenda.

“We are also introducing a new format and exploring exciting new ideas with a plethora of high-quality online content, which should stop rotas getting in the way and allow everyone to enjoy and benefit from the event in one way or another.”

Focus

BEVA Congress is Europe’s largest equine veterinary event, and to mark the diamond anniversary will have a focus on 60 years of teamwork in the profession.

All events at BEVA will follow COVID safety measures and it has made these available to view in advance online.

Programme

Details of the full programme are also available, including a line-up of internationally renowned speakers, and proceedings will incorporate the 13th International Equine Colic Symposium.

Early bird tickets are available to buy until 16 August and a peace of mind bookings policy is in place. Full details are on the congress website.
